I was invited to play Komnata‘s Doctor Frankenstein room by Love Popups London the other day. The room’s premise is quite simple, the Professor has been trying to create artificial life, but just as he was close to a breakthrough, he has gone missing. We have one hour to unravel the mystery of what happened to him.

Great escape game We really enjoyed the escape room. I would like to try their other rooms. The puzzles in the game was really interesting and challenging in the same time.

Great time for the whole family! My sons & I did the Komnata escape room in Covent Gardens today and it was awesome! We worked together as a team to get out of some tricky situation and haven't stopped talking about it since...

My favorite escape game in London I tried a lot of escape rooms in London, but Komnata is my favorite now. They have two scripts here, I tried Sant Angelo Castle, and it’s amazing, atmosferic, with interesting plot and lots of special effects. Next time I will definitely play their Frankenstein!

The adventure begins when you find the correct building. Although difficult to find, it kind of builds to the ambience of the place. A group of three or more venture solo, and try to escape a prison that the mad scientist failed, but a jeweler succeeded. Venturing with your group of friend is fun…

If you tired of the dinners and bars, and craving for the exciting new experiences, Komnata Quest is what you are looking for. Five of us went to the "7 Sinful Pleasures" room. Whoa! So much fun. And yes, its not easy to unlock every room inside. You really need a group effort to exit them on time…

We came here with a group of 5. We were successful in escaping "Saint Angelos Castle" prison in 40mins. We had a blast from the beginning to the end. It was great that we got to wear robe costume which really helped enhance the mood and with the spooky music in background. Also, the host was very …

This place was definitely great, I didnt expect it to be so suspenseful. They first put you in robes and a hood which makes you really feel into it. Definitely a great experience and worth the trip. Its different from most other escape the rooms and you have less people so putting more minds to t…

Did "Saint Angelo castle" escape challenge and had an awesome time. Difficult but not TOO difficult, loved the historical bent, and definitely going to try one of the other scenarios. clues/ challenges were varied, and the experience kept us very engaged and immersed. Like the small size - we just …

Played at Komnata in January and thought it was a good room. Well built, staff were friendly. We had a couple of minor technical issues, but that's expected every so often with an escape room. Would recommend if you're in the area.

I’ve tried several different escape rooms around the country and this is by far the best I’ve tried to date. This is a mega professional, super modern and completely engaging experience. It’s slightly pricey compared to other escape experiences but I think it’s worth it. Give it a go and immerse yourself into it. Good luck!

Komnata at present have two escape rooms Saint Angelos and Doctor Frankenstein. Both rooms are very atmospheric and a little spooky. Saint Angelos is based in a dungeon with skulls and bones lying around. Doctor Frankenstein is obviously based on Frankenstein monster. Both rooms have various clues and puzzles and are highly decorated making it very atmospheric.

Positives: excellent props, interesting story, good attention to detail. Negatives: very dark in one of the two room, music is too loud (couldn't hear tips and messages on the speaker).

They only accept online bookings, we booked and started playing within an hour. In arrival the place was locked and looked closed, however after a few minutes someone let us in. We were dressed in appropriate costumes, lined up, holding into the person in front, told to close our eyes and led into our cells. From there all we had to do was escape! It was great fun, challenging, but not too hard. Clues helped.

Saint Angelo’s Castle quest I'm a big fan of quests, in Russia and Belarus I always attend quests. So there was no limit to the joy when I got to know that a Russian businessman had opened a quest in London, I immediately booked the game! Quest is in the high level -cool puzzles, everything is very technical and there is a very insidious task :) and it was the great pleasure to play with the team :) Highly recommend the Saint Angelo’s Castle quest in Komnata.
